India Ratings ZEE TV rules overall and Colors Wins in Urban

ZEE TV emerged as the leading Hindi entertainment channel overall in India, according to official BARC data for Week 47 of 2017.

The channel delivered 675.065 million Impressions, followed by Star Bharat, which moved up to No.2 with 657.889 million Impressions and Colors was also up with 649.192 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the region was ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 12.132 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 11.383 million Impressions and ‘Kya Haal Mr Panchal’ on Star Bharat with 10.661 million Impressions.

In the Urban region, Colors retained its numero uno position with 466.430 million Impressions, followed by ZEE TV with 404.079 million Impressions and Star Plus in third with 328.260 million Impressions. Star Bharat wasn’t too far behind with 315.957 million Impressions, while Sony SAB TV grabbed No.5 with 315.719 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the region was ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 7.250 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 6.716 million Impressions and ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ on Sony SAB TV with 6.162 million Impressions.

In the Rural region, ZEE Anmol managed to stay firm at No.1 with 464.035 million Impressions, followed by Sony Pal with 409.596 million Impressions and Star Utsav with 362.520 million Impressions. Star Bharat was placed in fourth with 341.932 million Impressions and Rishtey at No.5 with 308.601 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the region was ‘Baalveer’ on Sony Pal with 7.582 million Impressions, followed by ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ on Sony Pal with 6.277 million Impressions and ‘Kya Haal Mr Panchal’ on Star Bharat with 6.084 million Impressions.
